Belper Arts Trail & Belper Tapas Trail

This year we joined in on 2 popular Belper Events; The Arts Trail, and The Tapas Trail!

The Arts Trail is an event in Belper; where venues host artists all over the town. Attendees can purchase a wristband for £5, and then explore the town using the map to visit artists exhibiting their art, and performers sharing songs!

We had Karen Johnson of Millie Moth Art in the Deli, with a section of the Deli transformed into her own exhibition area.

Karen makes art using alcohol inks and multimedia digital collages, inspired by the beauty of nature and flowers and the joy she feels when she’s amongst foliage.

Karen sells her own kits, so you too can learn how to make epic, colourful, vibrant art from alcohol inks!

Karen also runs workshops, in fact, she is running a workshop in the Deli itself on August 14th, check out the info here!

You can also see more of Karens art at www.milliemothshop.com

On June 20th and 21st, the Deli was part of the Belper Tapas Trail!

The Tapas Trail is similar to the Arts Trail, except instead of viewing art, you walk around the town and sample food from different venues!

We made a special menu for the Event;

We sold 240+ dishes!

And not only that, but we came 3rd place in the whole of Belper for our Braised Pork Rostini by public vote for the best dish!

Woooohoooo!!

We love hosting these events, we are also available to hire for personal events; we recently hosted an event by conscious events company Resonate, and we frequently host Free Book readings/signings hosted by Dormouse Books CIC, as well as being hired for parties, receptions, celebrations, art workshops, and talks!
